Ah yes, I remember it well.Tim McFarlane | timmcfarlane (b.1964, USA)
Untitled. Acrylic on paper, 38” x 50” (2010)
Plume. Acrylic on canvas, 60” x 72” (2006)Prolific, impatient and curious, Tim McFarlane is an Americain artist-painter. Abstract, layered and colorful, Tim hopes to express a sense of the often confused and convoluted relationship humans have with how we experience history and memory. Although filtered through his own experiences of those very broad topics, Tim likes to think that viewers can come away from the work with something that might challenge their interpretations of their own experiences. “I’m inspired by a great variety of things, but mostly life itself. Contained within that is other artists’ work, music, design (architecture, fashion, objects), photography, creative things my friends are doing, cycling, and more.” Tim shares his works and also things that inspire him on his Tumblr. You can also visit his website, blogspot and Facebook for news or work. (Interview with artist by ARTchipel Apr-2012)
